Mapei Ultrabond Eco Tack – Pressure Sensitive Carpet Tile Adhesive
Mapei Ultrabond Eco Tack is a solvent-free non-staining acrylic-based adhesive designed to provide a permanently tacky film when dry, to allow the removal and replacement of carpet tiles when required.

Non-permanent bonding of self-laying textile flooring tiles.
APPLICATION EXAMPLES
Ultrabond Eco Tack may be used to hold and prevent slipping of self-laying carpet tiles with any type of backing on all substrates normally used in the building industry, on existing flooring and on raised floors.
Ultrabond Eco Tack is also suitable for application on heated floors (the maximum temperature of the floor must not exceed levels prescribed by current norms).
The heating must be switched off for at least 48 hours before and after installation of the floor covering.
The heating should then be turned on and brought up to operating temperature by no more than 5 degrees per day.
In areas subject to excessive temperature variations and for dressings not fully dimensionally stable, care must be taken to prevent movements opening up the joints.
